Sebastian Schmeck, better known as “Der Hanfzwerg”, is a pioneer in the German hemp industry and CEO of HashCraft. With an impressive background in sales and a passion for sustainable hemp cultivation, he has made a name for himself as a thought leader and expert on cannabis in Germany.
Sebastian Schmeck, born in 1983, completed a commercial apprenticeship after leaving school and started a long and successful career in sales in the civil engineering and oil & gas industries. Today he works full-time for a well-known fertilizer company in the technical and sales field service.
In 2022, he founded his own company called “Hanfzwerg”, which quickly established itself on the market thanks to its responsible approach to regional and sustainable work.
In April 2022, together with a farmer friend, he started his first own sowing of industrial hemp on 2,500 square meters of arable land in Siegerland and the area under cultivation has grown every year since then. The hemp oil produced has been very well received by regional customers.
The Hanfzwerg has set itself the task of educating traders and consumers about hemp, especially hemp flowers and extracts. Since legalization, the topic of cannabis cultivation has also been a focus of his lectures and training courses.
