Expertise and innovation in cannabis cultivation: Tjard Steen brings extensive knowledge and years of experience in cannabis cultivation and consulting. Born and raised on a farm in East Frisia, Tjard developed a deep understanding of nature and agricultural processes from an early age. After moving to Berlin in 2007, he expanded his knowledge through contact with numerous growers and agronomists, thereby acquiring extensive knowledge about the cultivation, processing and properties of different cannabis genetics.
In 2020, he was given the opportunity to apply his skills in the largest European outdoor medical cannabis plantation in Portugal as Assistant Head of Cultivation and expand them to industry level. He and his team have successfully managed almost 60,000 plants up to harvest. There he was able to expand his international network and further deepen his knowledge.
Today, Tjard works as a freelance consultant and is happy to share his extensive experience and in-depth knowledge. It offers innovative solutions for various cannabis projects and supports the legalization and professionalization of the industry.
