Ilsede, November 11, 2024 – The CANNAFRIENDS 2024, Northern Germany’s largest cannabis trade fair, exceeded all expectations in its second edition. From 20 to 22 September 2024, the event in the historic Gebläsehalle in Ilsede attracted over 6,800 visitors and offered a diverse trade fair program that left nothing to be desired.
Under the motto “From the community for the community”, visitors could look forward to a three-day program that included exhibitions as well as a stage program, workshops and live acts. Over 80 exhibitors presented innovations from the fields of cannabis medicine, lifestyle products, cultivation accessories and CBD, all in a relaxed festival atmosphere.
Highlights of the trade fair
CANNAFRIENDSoffered a comprehensive stage and speaker program, which is now available on the fair’s YouTube channel and Spotify channel. Here you can listen again to presentations on topics such as cannabis as medicine, legal issues and the establishment of cannabis social clubs. Experts such as Dr. Marc Herzog and Steffen Geyer as well as influencers such as Vincent Weed and Atilla from “Wir klären auf” shared their extensive knowledge and personal experiences. André Schneider, known as a cannabis chef, showed in special workshops how to prepare culinary creations such as “energy balls” or “cannabinoid infusions” with cannabis.
A festival full of activities
In addition to the informative presentations and discussions, there was also plenty of entertainment and networking. The game area, the popular joint building contest by OCB and the manufactory area, where handmade and sustainable cannabis products were presented, provided a variety of highlights. Another highlight was the after-lounge on Friday and Saturday evening, which provided the perfect end to each day of the trade fair with live music and relaxed conversations.
Satisfied visitors and outlook for 2025
Visitors were delighted with the perfect mix of information, networking and festival feeling. The mood was consistently positive, and both exhibitors and participants praised the excellent organization and atmosphere.
